Villa Gregoria Terrace Resort, Nagcarlan, Laguna

When you have small kids to bring with in any out of town activities during summer, you were always limited with nearer locations to choose and shorter distance to travel. We're one of those who were faced with this kind of dilemma. Those who have killer twos and tots will probably agree with me on this. Fortunately, there are spots that are still equally enjoyable nearby. Many have recommended VILLA GREGORIA TERRACE RESORT for an out of town summer day trip. It sits in a breezy, richly filled nature in Brgy. Buboy, Nagcarlan, Laguna. To prove that indeed it's one of the hottest spots in the area, the resort was awarded by Governor Ningning Lazaro as the cleanest and best landscaped resort in Laguna in 2006. You will be greeted at the entrance gate of the resort by no less than its congratulatory banner.
Approximately 2 hrs away from Manila, Villa Gregoria offers a cool nature ambiance to its visitors. The water is really cold. No need to worry though, for it will just counter the hot, sweaty, sunny weather we have these days. Just perfect for a mid-day swimming affair. Living up to its award, the resort is generally clean. Swimming pools and cottages are maintained well. But due to its popularity and affordability (P60 entrance fee - adult, P40 - kids >3 yrs old), expect for a big lot of patrons. There are 5 swimming pools inside the resort. The largest and perhaps the cleanest is the 13 x 33 meters mini olympic pool. There are also fully furnished appartelles and air-conditioned rooms for those who will opt to stay overnight. Likewise, if privacy is what you want for your family there's a pool that can be rented exclusively.

Villa Gregoria is a typical mid range resort. It's not strict in the sense that bringing in of food is allowed and wearing of proper swimming attire is not firmly implemented. If I have but one thing to comment about the resort, it's the latter. In order to maintain the cleanliness of the pool (which is the main reason why people come here for) and for general hygiene, proper swimming attire should be required. I can imagine people plunging into the water straight from the car, huh?! (It might be an exaggeration but hey! still not impossible). Other than that, the terrace resort's clean facilities, well manicured lawns, cool water, nature ambiance and welcoming service are more than enough reasons to pay it a visit.

yeah it's a nice place with beautiful sceneries. It's a shame it is ran by a bunch of people who have no clue on to treat guest. Our experience was awful. No bed sheets, no towels provided and when we requested some we were told none were available. On top of that the room was full of ants. we had an awfull time.

Hi, we were there in 2009. We had a great time. Besides being walking distance from my cousins' place, the staff were accommodating. There were many shower rooms, no need not line up. There was a wedding housed at that time and all the rooms are occupied, so we just got a big kubo. We might go back again this year, if our schedule permits

the place is cool,,, very very clean,, but the problem is that... i ran by illiterate people who doesnt have any idea of what customer service is... its sad that the only thing they know is how to get paid and swipe the floor and sip all the dirts... but the place??? cool,,, the management and staff bad,, very very bad... must not recommend to high end, socialite people... nor try to let your american friends stay there... only good for their own people as they can tolerate such illiteracy... k2cbp

I am from Nagcarlan, Laguna. Villa Gregoria is a nice place, I often visit the place everytime we go home to Nagcarlan. My family really enjoyed the cool swimming pool and the ambiance. I recommend Villa Gregoria as one of your future destination to experience the cool, excellent and cozy place. It is just a 2 hour drive from Manila, passing Alaminos, San Pablo City, Rizal Laguna and finally Nagcarlan Laguna.

We just spend one night at the resort, end of apri, and I can say we all loved it. Super clean place, extreme friendly staff and nice clean and comfy rooms. I am a German and my wife is from the Philippines, we visited several resorts on this years holidy, but none got even close to the top standart and service of Villa Rosaria. We went there with 4 adults and 6 teenagers and we were sad when we left. Even today, back in the UK, thats were we live, we still talk about this place.
Only negative comment we have, is that there is no restaurant around, with a good eatery this place would be the perfect holiday place for ppl who want to get away and get a nice R&R. Also wifi would bea great thing to have.
But my overall comment is, go there and then you know what heaven will be.
Villa Gregoria, we see you next holidy, and then for a few days and we want to rent the private villa and pool.

Thank you for a great time

Anybody has any questiobs, feel free to contact me
This is what we called WOW, very impressive and attractable. I want to go on this resort for having some pleasure and for relax time too. I really like this style very refreshing. Thanks.

I always recommend Villa Gregoria Resort to my friends because the location is along national road, water is cool and clean, there are many clean CRs, entrance fee and room rates are affordable, many bbq grills, can bring in food and drinks without corkage and there are swimming pools for kids and adults.
