SINGAPORE FOOD FESTIVAL 2010 - Celebrating Culture & Heritage Through Food (Part 2 of 2)

For someone who's been working in the food industry for more than a decade now, to say that I am enthusiastic and excited for the much awaited Singapore Food Festival is still somehow an understatement. I actually started my countdown to each of the activities to be rolled out island wide related to this event. If shopaholics had feasted since day 1 of GSS (Great Singapore Sale), gourmands are set to invade the center stage of good food in the coming days. The major happenings termed as the "Core Events" of the Food Festival are product of careful collaboration by well respected food organizations and personalities together with the Singapore Tourism Board. These are certainly the must see and experience...
1. CHINESE DIALECT HERITAGE FEAST - July 25 / 5 - 10 pm / Clarke Quay Read Bridge
Let your taste buds be romanced by scrumptious delicacies from the selected chinese cultural dialects - Cantonese, Hainanese, Hakka, Hokkien and Teo Chew.
2. CLARKE QUAY FOOD STREET - July 16 - 25 / 4 - 11 pm / Clarke Quay Read Bridge
Dine under the bridge on a wide array of chinese delights prepared by more than 30 stalls.

3. SINGAPORE CHINESE DIALECT TINGKAT CRUISE - July 16 - 25 / 4 - 10 pm / Merlion Park
